There are several local projects to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels, energy usage and waste to help the New Forest move towards a low carbon society.

West Solent Solar Energy Farm, Lymington
New Forest Home Energy Solutions – this is a recently formed cluster of individuals from local groups who are working together to help their communities reduce their energy consumption (and so reducing cost and carbon emmissions too). They are on a google groups email and have run some zoom calls and are planning some events in the New Forest in 2022.
