Sue Proud, local expert in felt making, will lead this event which will introduce you to the art and craft of working with this material.
You will use pre dyed merino fleece fibers, layering them and then employ water, soap and a bit of elbow grease to rub and roll these and create a felt flower broach, perfect to jazz up an outfit or coat and a phone cover.
Please bring along an apron, to protect against the wet, a towel to soak up excess water, and lastly a rolling pin to aid the friction needed to make the fibers mesh together.
