The warm hearth fire of Minstead Roundhouse in the New Forest awaits us all this Imbolc weekend, for an evening of ancient, magical and wisdom stories and songs.
At the beginning of National Storytelling Week, storytellers Eleni Palanzas (Circle of Unity) and Steph Newall (Wykeham Tales), together with musician Richard Parker (Active Arts) create an evening to gather and share story and song, and to celebrate the gradual changing of seasons from winter into the first hints of spring.
In the roundhouse, the fire will be kept good and warm, the candles will be burning around us, and we will be seated on either wooden benches or floor cushions. Do bring with you any cushions, blankets and warm clothes you may want for your comfort at this time of year.
There will be teas and hot chocolate provided half way through the evening, so please also bring a mug each for your drinks.
Please arrive at the roundhouse from 6.45pm, so we can all begin together at 7pm.
Tickets : Adults £8, Children £4
The number of roundhouse spaces is limited, so it is essential that you book in advance by e-mailing :
eleni@circleofunity.org.uk
Please commit to your tickets once booked, to allow an honouring of places for yourselves and others. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you on booking, with directions to the venue. Please pay on arrival at the gate.
For any other enquiries, please mail Eleni as above, or phone/text 07557129671
We look forward to sharing with you,
Eleni, Steph, and Richard x
