Organic No Dig Gardening with Charles Dowding: A Practical Day
Following his very successful previous talks at Minstead, Charles Dowding returns to provide a practical day on organic no dig gardening. Participants will learn about growing all kinds of vegetables and fruit productively, healthily and with less effort. Charles has a wealth of experience having grown organic fruit and veg for 30 years. He is the author of a number of books on the subject and a contributor to Gardeners World Magazine.
The day is suitable for gardeners of all abilities. Charles will explain the basic principles of organic no dig gardening. He will demonstrate composts, propagating techniques and materials, how to transplant, the use of fleece, weeding tips, picking skills and the importance of sowing at the right time. Beginners will quickly see how to create a productive garden while experienced gardeners will learn many time-saving methods and see ways to increase the growth and health of their plants.
The course is limited to 12 places to allow all participants involvement in the days activities. A friendly, informative and productive day is assured.
