Choral director, composer and singer Jeremy Avis has built a reputation for his joyful engaging and slightly left-field community singing workshops. Jermey is also the musical director for The Merchant of Venice at the Globe theatre on the South Bank, this seasons opening show!
He has composed music for the Queens Diamond Jubilee River Pageant, conducted a huge project for the Cultural Olympiad and been acting on stage at the National Theatre, the RSC and in Botswana.
This 3 hour workshop will get you singing joyfully in parts, a selection of easy to learn songs that herald the coming of Spring and the joy of new seasons from places as far afield as Botswana, Bulgaria, Essex and Jeremy’s own composition.
An afternoon of full-throated vocal expression and the visits to exciting new vocal territory is guaranteed!
Tickets cost £15 (to include Tea and Cake as well as singing!)
