The New Forest National Park is a popular leisure destination for visitors, but with nearly 96% of visitors arriving by car, visitor traffic poses a threat to some of the special qualities of the National Park. It is therefore an ideal location for developing sustainable transport that both allows visitors to enjoy the attractions of the area whilst minimising their impact on those special qualities.
This informative talk by officers from the National Park Authority Transport and Tourism team will discuss the challenges faced and the exciting projects being developed to improve the situation.
