You will have a tour of the West Solent Solar Farm walking amongst the panels on the solar field and finding out about how solar power is generated and sent to the grid.
You will also find out about how the biodiversity is being developed on this ex-landfill site and how an increasing variety of plants and wildlife are now flourishing on the field.
Arrival from 10.40am for an 11am tour start.
Not suitable for children under 5 years.
Essentially a Solar Farm is a Power Station so children must remain under close parental supervision at all times.
Sorry, not suitable for dogs – the solar farm has sheep grazing the field.
