Paint the town Green!
Transition Lymington is joining forces with local churches and organisations to organise the first town-wide ‘Green Week’, bringing together and promoting a week of environmental-themed activities across Lymington and Pennington.
The week will celebrate environmental achievements locally, inform people about climate change and the state of nature and encourage everyone to live more sustainably, promoting community and working together as we look for solutions to the challenges we face. We want to involve a wide range of groups, and people of all ages, across the town of Lymington and Pennington. And we want to have fun!
We want everyone to #MakeOneChange on such things as helping nature and wildlife, encouraging low carbon transport, reducing waste, combating climate change and working in partnership.
We would love your school, business or local group to be involved. You could hold an event, talk, demonstration, open day, exhibition or workshop. To find out more and get involved please contact Rosie or Sarah on

Events will include an Eco Fair, Repair Café, Solar Farm and Community Allotment tours. We also want as many groups and organisations as possible to ‘green’ their own meetings or events or organise a one-off event.
