Transition Lymington Meeting on Wed 29th April we are going to change pub for pond!
Angela Peters – and Grace have offered to give us some pond survey training. Looking for amphibians, invertebrates, plant life and water quality. We will then use our skills to help survey 3 local ponds – probably in June.
We’re going to meet up at Woodside Park, in the lower car park at 6.30pm BYO wellies and a torch.
If you are planning to come along, please email Angela directly – to let her know – just to we have the right amount of equipment etc..
Angela works for the Land Advice Service, working along side the National Park.
Grace works for the Hants and IOW Wildlife Trust.
Woodside – Lower Car Park is 1/2 way down Ridgeway Lane – the road that goes down to the Chequers, down the west side of Woodside Park.
PondNet – is a national volunteer survey, set up by Freshwater Habitats Trust
